Privacy Policy

This policy explains how GenAI Guardrail handles your data, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP) and the GDPR where applicable.

1. The text you scan

Text you submit for scanning is processed in-memory to produce a risk assessment and is then discarded. We do not persist the raw text of your scans. On the Scale plan's audit log we store findings metadata (category, severity, timestamp) — never the raw text or any customer PII contained in it.

2. Account & usage data

We store your email (if provided), plan, API keys, and anonymized usage records (risk score, finding counts, timestamps) to operate the Service, enforce quotas, and bill you.

3. The AI pass

When the hallucination/tone AI pass runs, the submitted text is sent to our internal model gateway solely to produce the assessment. It is not used to train any model and is not retained after the response.

4. Cookies

We set a single first-party cookie (gg_vid) to count your free monthly quota. No third-party advertising cookies.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data at any time by emailing us. We respond within 30 days.

6. Data location & retention

Data is stored on infrastructure in/near India. Usage records are retained for up to 13 months for billing and analytics, then deleted.
